Scouting America Troop 72 was chartered in 2020. We welcome all youth, male and female, ages 11-17 who desire to join in the experience of scouting.
In addition to our weekly meetings, our scouts plan fun monthly activities such as camping, hiking, aquatics (swimming, kayaking, etc.), and community service as well as attending summer camp each year. Through these experiences our scouts are actively learning while building connections with nature, their families, scout leaders and each other.
Troop 72’s scouts are dedicated to living by the tenets of the Scout Oath, Scout Law, and Outdoor Code. Through these experiences our scouts learn ethics, self-confidence, responsible stewardship of resources, empathy for others, leadership skills, survival skills, and how to be good citizens within the community.
We are chartered by Bethel Baptist Church, who are staunch supporters of our troop’s scouts and leaders.
